UMPIRES NORTHWEST (UNW) was founded in 2011…

by three people who saw a need for Little League and Youth League officiating services on the Greater Eastside.  Our first clients were Newcastle Baseball Club and Bellevue West Little League. And we were lucky enough to do a handful of older boys’ baseball games for the Kirkland Baseball Commission.

In 12 years, UNW has grown tremendously, now assigning umpires to over 8000 baseball and softball games of various levels of play.  Our clients span from Little League to Pony and Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth to junior college baseball to high school baseball to adult and several select team leagues. 

We also contract with other tournament hosts to provide officiating services across Washington State.

UNW currently has over 300 active members with lots of experience from youth / little league games to semi-pro games.
